Harris Nizam has been falling in love with photography and films since he was a teenager. Based on that interest, he continued to study film at Jakarta Institute of Art. While he was studying, he began to work as a freelancer in several production houses either in Jakarta and Bali.

Since 2007, he has been join with Skylar Pictures. Here, he created several video clips and also film television, mostly he is listed as a producer for feature films productions. Even for his debut in Surat Kecil Untuk Tuhan (A Note to God) he keeps supervising his producer.

The young film maker that adores with Bryan Singer, hopes that his dream could come true as soon as possible. His dream is to make Indonesian Film as an honorable host in its own country. For that, he will always selective in choosing the theme for his further works. "If we put our heart in everything we do, it will definitely get to the heart as well" said Harris.
